Tuttosport: Giroud returns from international duty with great confidence – key for Milan

By Isak Möller -

Olivier Giroud has been an important player for AC Milan in the second half of this season, scoring some decisive goals. With the season finale starting tonight, the Rossoneri are eager to make the most of his qualities.

The 35-year-old has just returned from international duty with France, during which he bagged two goals in two games. It was quite the success for him, in other words, and he’s in very good form.

As pointed out by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan need his goals and he will play from the first minute against Bologna tonight. The confidence boost he received during the break could thus come in very handy, having failed to score in the Rossoneri’s last two games.

Milan need to improve their goal difference as much as possible, given that Napoli are ahead on that front. There have been many one-goal-margin wins lately and the Rossoneri could do with some more convincing ones.
