Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic spends weekend with family in Sweden to recharge batteries

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss out on the action tomorrow as he’s currently serving a one-game suspension, which he got after the red card against Parma. Therefore, he decided to return to Sweden for the weekend.

The 39-year-old’s family lives in Sweden and the opportunity presented itself to spend the weekend with them, as Tuttosport report (via MilanNews). He will return to Italy on Sunday and it remains to be seen if he will be at San Siro or not.

Milan are happy with either, knowing that he will be back at Milanello as planned on Monday to begin preparations for the game against Sassuolo. It’s scheduled for Wednesday evening and thus the Rossoneri will have little time to prepare.

In the meantime, Ibrahimovic will be able to recharge his batteries along with his family, which could do him well given the amount of time they spend away from each other. In short, there is nothing controversial about his trip to Sweden.
