Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic viewed as the ‘ideal signing’ for Milan – the player’s concern

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan consider Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be the ‘ideal reinforcement’ for the January transfer window, according to a report.

We recently revealed that Elliott Management are ready to spend money in the January window to add some experience to a young squad that has struggled to start the season.

According to MilanNews.it – who cite Tuttosport – Elliott know that the Milan squad needs signings to be competitive for the top places and to help the road back towards the European places.

The report claims that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is viewed as the ‘ideal purchase’, representing the prototype leader that Milan lacks, however at the moment the Swede is apparently having doubts about the return.

The fear of affecting the memory that Milan fans have of him is present, while Myron Boadu of AZ Alkmaar is also a possible target, though he is only 18.

Marca recently reported that Zlatan is ‘likely to return for another spell with Milan’, but il Corriere della Sera claimed on Tuesday that the club have ‘discarded the idea’ of signing him.
