Tuttosport: Latest on Origi, Krunic and Messias sales amid concrete interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to work on various outgoings and there are three players above all who seem to be in the shop window, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Divock Origi is among the players that Milan are trying to sell because he is no longer part of Stefano Pioli’s plans and was not een called up for the tour of the United States.

The Belgian forward has received and is evaluating some offers that have arrived from Saudi Arabia, but he always hopes for a call from a Premier League club, such as West Ham.

Meanwhile, Milan are in talks with Fenerbahce over Rade Krunic. If the Turkish club want to sign the Bosnian midfielder from the Rossoneri, they will need to pay €12-13m plus bonuses.

After Ante Rebic, Besiktas are also trying to sign Junior Messias from Milan, but the idea of a move to Turkey doesn’t tempt the Brazilian winger that much. Torino could instead come back in during the next few days.

      1. 111 Seria A games 6 goals and 12 assists. On average he contributes a goal once every 6 games. And he is a winger! P.s. statistics gots ever worse when all competitions are taken into consideration. He was paid 7 mil. and now he can leave but there are 0 (zero) offers nor even speculations. Nobody is really into funding a defensive wing.

        1. It’s crazy that dumb people (ie Pioli) fall in love with guys like Saladmaker and Krunic because they play hard. Cool, they still suck!

          1. They dont. every team needs backup players with heart. the key word is backup. I dont mind saladman and krunic AS BACKUPS. i have a huge problem as consistent starting players.
We arent Madrid, we cant have 50M players on the bench. So, we need solid, reliable cheap guys.

          2. He did have much choice given our lack of squad depth, that is no longer the case so let’s see and hope Pioli can get us the scudetto again

        2. Saelemakers came in as a RB/RWB. He was forced to play as a RW because of management inability to sign a proper RW in 4 years.
In the 2 most successful seasons in serie A for Milan in 10 years, 20/21 and 21/22, where Milan finished 2nd and 1st, Saelemakers was one of the more important players. Way more important for that success than someone like Bennacer for example.
Also, a flop is someone who underperformed based on expectations and price tag.
Which one of those did he underperformed?
No one knew who he was and he was bought and paid peanuts compared to other players on the team and was learning a new position.
Worth every penny and then some

          1. I don’t get why people hate on him so much. I’d personally rather see him at RB. But to me he is pretty good. No not the best player we have, but definitely not one that deserves all this scorn.

There are plenty of others that need to be shown the door.

        3. Sales is not a flop. He is what he is and what he was projected to be – a back up player. Nobody ever said he would be anything other than that and for 7M that is fine.

    1. @rossonero Yes, dont include Saladmakers
He still remain the most improved among the teams for the past 2 seasons if not the injuries in the beginning of last Season he was the beat player even in chmpion league before the injury and a very utility players.

  1. Fenerbahce are not going to make Krunic the most expensive signing in Turkey this summer. Stop dreaming up these valuations. We’ll be lucky to get €4 million for him. So called €10-15 million rated Rebic went for €0.5 million.

    1. Turkey is in a major financial and economic crisis. Inflation projections were doubled to 58% officially and no doubt are higher.

Is it really a surprise it’s hitting their clubs ability to spend?

  2. Saelesmaekers is a good utility player. He isn’t bad. Some of the other players we have do far less than he does.

  3. Saelermakers is Good and he is ready to sacrifice is time to be the best so he can support leao because in left wing I do follow him he is superb

  4. Swap Messias for Singo. Singo is worth the risk. Let’s see if Pioli can develop him into a defender like he did with Theo. Or was that Maldini lol. Whatever – just get the deal done and get rid of Messias deal and add a versatile athletic offensive player that can be taught how to defend
