AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli will not be able to call upon winger Rafael Leao for the friendlies against Arsenal and Liverpool, according to a report.
As revealed by Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), Milan will not have Leao for the games against Arsenal and Liverpool that will see the Rossoneri participate in the Dubai Super Cup. The Portuguese forward – despite being eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar – will return to Milanello once the team returns from Dubai.
Leao will therefore miss the games against the Premier League duo but will be there for the match that will be played close to the resumption of the season against PSV at the end of the month.
It will hopefully be a period in which Leao can get some much-needed rest after what has been a very demanding first few months of the season up to and including the World Cup in Qatar.
