AC Milan could wrap up three sales before the end of the window in order to fund moves for two reinforcements, according to a report.
Monday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it) reveals Milan’s plan for the final days of the winter market. Three Rossoneri players have now ended up on the fringes of the club’s project: namely Krzysztof Piatek, Suso and Lucas Paqueta.
Milan are currently at work to sell the aforementioned trio and they have two players in mind as potential signings between now and the end of the month.
The goal for midfield is Florentino Luis, a 20-year-old Benfica midfielder with a release clause of over €100million, but the Lusitanian club could agree to loan him out for 18 months with an option to buy of around €40-50m.si.
In the last few hours, then, the rumour of a possible exchange between the Rossoneri and Juventus has spread, one which would see Lucas Paqueta move to the Bianconeri and Federico Bernardeschi arrive at San Siro.
Of course, Suso’s exit would be needed first, but even if the ex-Liverpool winger were to leave it would still not be an easy operation to complete. There are just a few days left before the market closes, but Maldini and Boban will try until the last minute to give important reinforcements to Stefano Pioli.
