Tuttosport: Maldini sets budget to complete signing of Bordeaux star with Spurs lurking

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan director Paolo Maldini has set the amount he would like to spend to sign Yacine Adli from Bordeaux, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) explains that Milan do not want to go too far beyond a €10m investment for the 21-year-old midfielder. A meeting point could be found at €12m between the Rossoneri management and the Ligue 1 club – which is of course the same amount that the Rossoneri will collect from Eintracht Frankfurt when Jens Petter Hauge is bought next summer.

Bordeaux want to make as much as possible given that they must give 40% of any transfer sum that exceeds €5.5m to PSG, given that is the amount they paid to sign Adli in January 2019 from the Parisian club. Milan want to accelerate and are confident of being able to conclude the deal in a short time, but competition from Tottenham and other clubs is not lacking.
