Tuttosport: Milan and Arsenal among the clubs eyeing Torino captain as €34m price is set

By Oliver Fisher -

The race to sign Andrea Belotti from Torino is hotting up and AC Milan have not given up just yet, according to a report.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for two months after surgery has forced the management to look around for options who can come in and bolster the attacking department. The Swede should be back in time for the start of the season, but he will turn 40 in the upcoming campaign and Milan need a striker who offers certain physical guarantees.

According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are still keen on landing Belotti, who has seemingly been linked in every summer transfer window since 2017. However, Roma, Fiorentina and Napoli provide domestic competition, but the Italy international also has suitors in Premier League.

That is because Arsenal have also targeted il Gallo, but Torino president Urbano Cairo wants €34m to sell his captain despite the forward having only a one-year contract.
