AC Milan could once again go back in for Torino midfielder Daniele Baselli in the upcoming summer window, according to a report.
The Rossoneri’s midfield department is a fascinating situation to assess ahead of the upcoming transfer window, with question marks over the futures of all but a couple of players in that area as things stand.
According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Milan are back on the trail of Torino midfielder Baselli, 28, who could be the subject of a swap offer.
The Turin-based newspaper claims that the Granata have an interest in Milan’s on-loan Primavera star Tommaso Pobega who has been in excellent form for Pordenone on loan this season.
Torino scouts have delivered excellent reports on the 20-year-old and has drawn comparisons with Fiorentina starlet Gaetano Castrovilli.
Baselli meanwhile has made 21 appearances across the league and cup this season for il Toro, amassing two assists in the process.
