AC Milan are battling Serie A rivals Lazio for the signing of Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai this summer, a report claims.
The Rossoneri have been strongly linked with a move for Szoboszlai in recent weeks, and it has been claimed that if Ralf Rangnick should arrive as manager, Milan would have a very important joker card to use when negotiating.
Tuttosport recently reported that Ivan Gazidis is ready to sanction a €20m bid for the Hungary international, while the same outlet have stated that Liverpool, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are all interested in the 19-year-old.
According to Monday’s edition of the Turin-based paper (via Calciomercato.com), Milan are continuing to press hard for the signing of Szoboszlai this summer.
However, they are not alone in their pursuit of the teenager as Lazio are also keen on signing him, and they may be able to use the advantage of almost certain Champions League football next season to overcome Milan’s Rangnick factor.
