There is no doubt about who will be AC Milan’s manager next season despite the team’s struggles in the second half of the season, a report claims.
As Tuttosport writes (via MilanNews), the collapse of Milan in the second round is evident and not reaching the top four would be a disaster after winning the title of winter champion in January, but regardless of how the season ends there is no doubt about who will be the head coach next season.
The future of Stefano Pioli does not depend on qualification for the next Champions League as the club and the management very much appreciate the work done so far by the former Lazio and Fiorentina boss. The first part of the season was amazing (as well as the end of last season), so much so that some even dreamed of the Scudetto, but in 2021 the many injuries caught up.
Pioli’s position is not ‘in the balance’ as some sources say, even if there are some interesting coaches like Allegri, Sarri, Spalletti, Rudi Garcia and Galtier who could be available. Milan instead are focusing on the season finale that could bring Milan back to the Champions League after seven years.
