Tuttosport: Milan joined by two rivals in pursuit of Roma defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of three teams interested in signing Roma star Alessandro Florenzi in the January transfer window, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com stated last month that Paolo Maldini along with Zvonomir Boban and Ricky Massara will ‘intervene to resolve the problem’ at right-back in January.

Davide Calabria has already picked up two suspensions while there are still concerns over Andrea Conti despite impressing in the last two games.

Il Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) meanwhile recently reported that Roma are still thinking of ‘sacrificing’ Florenzi in January, with a swap deal involving Franck Kessie possible.

As per Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), there are three clubs waiting to take advantage should the Giallorossi decide to sell the Italy international.

The newspaper claims that Milan – along with rivals Inter and Juventus – are interested in signing the 28-year-old, who has made nine league appearances this season under Paulo Fonseca.
