Tuttosport: Milan make stance clear regarding idea of re-signing PSG’s Thiago Silva

By Oliver Fisher -

Any chance of AC Milan securing the sensational return of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva can be ruled out, a report claims.

The Brazilian defender has a contract expiring on 30 June with PSG, and while the player has repeatedly expressed his willingness to continue playing in the French capital in various interviews, a renewal does not seem imminent.

We recently revealed via Vito Angele that Milan are considering the idea of reuniting Thiago Silva with Zlatan Ibrahimovic for next season, eight years after they departed Milano for the French capital.

The player’s agent even revealed his client’s openness regarding a return to Italy earlier in the week, but admitted he has had no talks with Milan and the priority is to renew with PSG.

However, according to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), any idea of Thiago Silva securing a return to the San Siro is to be excluded, given the club are going in a different direction focusing on young players, plus Zvonomir Boban has left the club with Paolo Maldini set to follow.
