AC Milan are expected to agree a new deal with right-back Davide Calabria which will see him extend his stay at the club, a report claims.
Towards the end of last season though the Rossoneri full-back found the right condition physically and began to undergo a resurgence just as other members of the team did.
Calabria has become one of the protagonists of a Milan side that is giving the club its best form in many a year. However, given that his contract expires in 2022, the management are keen to avoid another situation like the Hakan Calhanoglu one, where time is working against them.
Calciomercato.com recently reported that there are no doubts that Calabria is ready to discuss the renewal of his contract, suggesting that he is more than willing to commit his long-term future to the Rossoneri.
According to the latest from Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), a renewal is ‘in sight’ for the 24-year-old. The paper adds that there will be no problems regarding the extension of his deal.
