Despite entering the most important phase of the season, AC Milan are already making plans for the summer window and one of their priorities is to sign a midfielder. Renato Sanches remains the main target, a report claims.
Franck Kessie has signed a pre-agreement with Barcelona and will be leaving Milan for free this summer. The Rossoneri thus need a replacement and as per Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Sanches is still the No.1 target.
However, it should be noted that Milan aren’t alone in the race for the Portuguese midfielder. Juventus and Roma are also following the 24-year-old and could give the Rossoneri a run for their money.
As we know, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara don’t like to participate in auctions and that could prompt them to look elsewhere. It’s still very early to say what will happen, though, as most of the management’s focus is on this season currently.
