AC Milan have reached a full agreement over the transfer of Christian Pulisic but the work will not stop there for the management.
According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan and Chelsea reached a definitive agreement over Pulisic yesterday, and this morning the exchange of documents between the lawyers of the two clubs has begun.
Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada cannot stop and admire their work though. Milan must now concentrate on closing a second signing for the midfield after Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The CEO decided to accelerate for Tijjani Reijnders yesterday, the 24-year-old midfielder from AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch club are a tough nut to crack and have set the asking price at €25m.
Furlani and Moncada are patiently trying to bridge the gap and their most recent offer is €21m plus bonuses. A response from the Eredivisie side is awaited.
Meanwhile, the club already have an agreement over terms with the Dutchman over a four-year deal at €1.7m net per season.
Yunus Musah also remains in contention, but in this case the asking price is very high, at least €35m. It will take patience to unite Pulisic with his compatriot.
Forget Musah and go for Amrabat
Or yeah maybe Florentino Luiz from Benfica
Yes and Yes !!!
There were some Florentino links at the begining of the mercato but nothing since. Him and Amrabat are miles better thatn RLC and Musah.
Luiz is a beast. Still 23 and not many clubs are interested in him at the moment except for Barca.
“Still 23 and not many clubs are interested in him at the moment except for Barca.”
Any idea why that would be if he is a beast?
I agree we have taken enough risks with the midfield already with RLC and Reijnders. We need at least one midfielder that knows the League well.
Yes. Also, both of them will cost approximately the same. Maybe musah will be more expensive.
Exactly man nicolas dominguez is my preference
He is maybe too expensive for Milan but I don’t know why they didn’t sign Dominguez from Bologna.
Sofyan Amrabat is the ideal midfielder Milan need right now.
agree. amrabat is strong and knows well serie a.
Unfortunately Amrabat is too expensive – over 30M – (most likely 40M) and we unfortunately will not spend over 30M on any transfer under Redbird. So players like Amtabat, SMS, Gravernbach, Openda, Balgoun – are out of our reach. It’s why we are after Morata (12M), Musah (25M) ,etc…all under 25M-30M transfer fee
Anyone think Pulisic’ Jersey will be the highest selling one for Milan? 🇺🇸
