Renato Sanches has been linked with a move to AC Milan ever since the January window, when an agreement was nearly struck. There has been little progress lately but that could soon change, a report claims.
Since Paris Saint-German entered the race for the midfielder, things have become increasingly more difficult for Milan. They are not able to offer the same salary as the French side, but their offer to Lille remains the superior one.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara believe the pursuit is still alive amid their ‘agreement’ with Lille. PSG have not made a decisive effort and now it’s up to Sanches to decide this future.
The Milan management will revive talks with the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, after the friendly against Marseille which is scheduled for tomorrow. It remains to be seen what the outcome will be but with the season approaching fast, Milan cannot afford to wait much longer.
The upcoming days, therefore, could provide us with some important updates on the situation.
