By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan managed to get their first win on their travels of the new campaign as they beat Sampdoria 2-1 at the Marassi in a game full of incidents.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport has player ratings for the game, starting with the defence where Mike Maignan (6), Davide Calabria (6), Simon Kjaer (6.5), Pierre Kalulu (6) and Theo Hernandez (6) all did their bet, especially with ten men.

Sandro Tonali was marginally better than his partner in the double pivot Tommaso Pobega with the former getting a 6.5 and the latter half a mark less.

Goal scorer Junior Messias received a 6.5 while Charles De Ketelaere struggled to get into the game and got a 5. Rafael Leao got a 6 despite being sent off, and Olivier Giroud (8) was the man of the match.

In terms of substitutes, Ismael Bennacer got a 6, and Fikayo Tomori received the same. Stefano Pioli was given a 7 for his management of the game, reacting well to the red card.

  1. Vlasic is a very good player, thisbis why I keep saying that lost times that it doesn’t work out for a player in a particular club doesnt mean he is bad…..look at kulusevki and bentacur from Juventus rejects to Tottenham star players.

    Vlasic is very good
