AC Milan are starting to turn their attention to selling players and they have decided that a fee of €8 million will be needed for each of Yacine Adli and Alexis Saelemaekers, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri want a combined €16m for the Frenchman and the Belgian, with the money able to be reinvested into better depth options.
Right now, it seems that Ajax is the only plausible destination for Adli. It is a bit surprising that he has been valued the same as Saelemaekers given the winger had some very good moments last season, despite an overall limited impact.
The arrivals of Samuel Chukwueze, Christian Pulisic and Luka Romero means that there is no scope for Saelemaekers to get many minutes in 2023/24, and that is also why Junior Messias is expected to leave.
As for Adli, he barely played last season so would not need to be replaced directly.
We need to keep Saelemaekers as we do not have defensively good players on the right side

Yeah so take the 16m and buy one good proper RB. Florenzi is there as the 3rd “defensive” option for the whole right flank. Done.
A bummer really. I really like both of them, but even they should know it’s time to move on. But 8m for Salad is quite small really.
Hopefully they can go to teams where they can play under coaches who will make them shine.
If I was their handler, I would be looking at Ligue Un for Adli, and Bundesliga for Salad.
Turn Saelesmaekers back into a RB. Play him as a RB. I think he would do well there.
During that grim little 5-3-2 period last season, Saelemaekers bossing at RWB was the one thing that stood out. If he can learn to lift his head up every now and again he can definitely do a job at RB.
Dude was dropped for messias in those games.. hes utterly useless for this club unfortunately. Shame, he had some potential
Because he didn’t get forward enough, then Messias came in and looked an absolute shambles, then we scrapped the whole endeavour anyway.
Defensively, Saelemaekers was great. Just my opinion of course.
One is wishes and the other is reality! We will get 16 million euros for them, the same as we got for Rebic!😁
Salad isn’t good defensively too. Just bcs he doesn’t score goals doesn’t mean he’s defensively good. He’s an average player. Doesn’t have any special traits. Too bad to be a winger and also too bad to be a wing back. Not so strong, not so fast, not so intelligent and his only season highlight is his solo goal. Even Messias has more end products 😆
8 milion is a joke for Saelsmaekers. He is very useful, just like Krunic. Sell Adli and CDK who doesnt fit into 4-2-3-1 and are dead weight, but dont sell two guys that can be used in multiple positions. That is the perfect benchplayer.
I would prefer kalulu calaberia and sawlemaekers there third option than keeping florazi in this CDK and Adli send them out for loan
Yes, his 2 goals per season was very useful.
I think it would be a huge mistake letting Salamakers go for such a small sum ,he is such a versatile player and has got ability and confidence to play anywhere..
So please let’s keep him ,and yes if needed he can always play a defensive role .I actually think he did quite well last season ,,.and scored a couple of beautiful goals ,yes he has got a fair amount of skill .

We have too many players who are bench-warmers . As it stands, I don’t see Milan getting good money for any one of them. Milan needs a very good right back; and, if the management feels the need to get one, they should. For each player leaving, it’s an opportunity to rekindle their career. It’s not all gloom when a player leaves a club.
get rid of them both; we need to upgrade RB. Calabria is too slow. Florenzi used to be great, especially getting forward and getting great crosses into the box and letting some good shots rip; but he’s too old now and gets hurt too often.
