Tuttosport: Milan set to beat Arsenal and PSG to bargain €15m deal – agent due in Italy

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are accelerating their attempts to beat the competition and land Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai this summer, it is claimed.

We reported on Tuesday via Vito Angele that Szoboszlai is on Rangnick’s wish list and the German has received reassurances from the club. The Rossoneri have already been in contact with the agent, collecting the player’s approval.

SportMediaset claimed on Monday that the Rossoneri are ‘very close’ to signing the Hungary international at the request of Ralf Rangnick, who will be the new manager heading into next season.

According to Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the main target for the midfield remains Szoboszlai, a talent that Rangnick knows very well and is desperate to bring to Milan.

The 19-year-old is attracting interest from a number of clubs though including the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Lazio.

Therefore, Milan have to move quickly and decisively to seal a deal worth around €15million and to avoid finding themselves involved in an auction that could take the asking price above €25m.

In the next few days his agent Matyas Esterhazy is expected to arrive in Milano to meet with the club’s leadership.
