Tuttosport: Milan to pursue Chelsea striker and ex-Juventus man in case of Ibrahimovic exit

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have two names in mind to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic if the Swede decides to leave the club this summer, a report claims.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are reporting that the Swede could also remain beyond the summer transfer window as well as head coach Stefano Pioli, who wishes to keep the striker.

If by any chance Ibrahimovic were to leave at the end of the season, then there are two names that the Rossoneri are considering to replace him, both of whom have experience.

The first name mentioned is Mario Mandzukic. The 34-year-old former Juventus striker moved to Qatar last December after struggling to make an impression under Maurizio Sarri, but his contract has been terminated after just six months meaning he is free to sign with another club.

The second target is Olivier Giroud, who has a contract at Chelsea until 2021 and has been strongly linked with both Inter and Lazio. He has nine goals in 22 appearances across all competitions having played a bit-part role under Frank Lampard this season.
