AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has some doubts to resolve before tomorrow night’s game against Sampdoria at San Siro, a report claims.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) talks about the selection choices for Pioli to make, starting in defence where Malick Thiaw is fine after suffering cramp on Tuesday night.
Fikayo Tomori could rest, with Simon Kjaer and Pierre Kalulu battling for the other spot. Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez are certain to start as the full-backs, as well as Maignan between the posts.
In the middle of the field, Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic could be called to work overtime, even if the chances of Tommaso Pobega getting a start are on the rise.
Behind Olivier Giroud it seems that Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao are guaranteed of a spot, while on the right wing Alexis Saelemaekers is currently the favourite to start over Junior Messias.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu (Kjaer), Thiaw, Theo Hernandez; Krunic, Tonali; Saelemaekers (Messias), Brahim Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
