Matteo Gabbia was one of the goalscorers in AC Milan’s 4-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb and he was also one of the best players on the pitch. Tonight, as the Rossoneri face Torino, he will start again.
The youngster has slowly but steadily improved and Milan are now seeing his best traits on the pitch. The goal against Dibnami Zagreb was just the icing on the cake as he performed really well in his defensive duties that evening.
As highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Pioli has a lot of faith in Gabbia and the starting spot is just further proof of that. He will partner up with Fikayo Tomori who is back from serving a one-game suspension.
Hopefully, Gabbia will pout in yet another assertive performance as Milan really need the depth for the final five games before the World Cup break. All hands on deck, as Pioli has said so many times since joining the club.
gabbia, calabria, tonali, pobega.. so proud for all of Italian in Milan! who are very important for the strongest team in Italy
More importantly 3 of ’em are Milan youth products. Can’t understand the targeted hate they often receive here.
