AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has three selection doubts that he must resolve today ahead of tomorrow’ derby against Inter, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that today’s final training session will be absolutely crucial for Pioli to make decisions on some of the dilemmas he currently has in his mind about the starting XI he will put on the field against his former side Inter.
There are at least three doubts for the Rossoneri coach and the first concerns the left-back position. Yesterday, Fode Ballo-Touré returned to training with the rest of the group, but it is not excluded that Pierre Kalulu could play on that side and replace the suspended Theo Hernandez.
The second battle is in midfield, with Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer fighting for a starting spot alongside Kessie. The last doubt is regarding who will play as the No.10 behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic out of Brahim Diaz and Rade Krunic, and the Spaniard is ahead of the Bosnian at the moment.
