Tuttosport: Pioli looking ahead to Roma clash – Leao likely out, Piatek in

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is could make a key change to his starting XI from the game against Lecce ahead of the trip to Roma, a report claims.

The Rossoneri were very impressive in the opening 45 minutes of Pioli’s debut as manager on Sunday night before eventually coughing up the lead twice to draw 2-2.

There has been speculation surrounding potential changes for the game at the Olimpico, with SportMediaset reporting on Tuesday that Suso could be dropped to accommodate both Krzysztof Piatek – who netted against Lecce – and Rafael Leao.

However, Thursday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it) reports that the Spaniard is in fact set to keep his place in the starting XI.

Pioli has been trying out his attacking trident in training, and the paper expects Hakan Calhanoglu to retain his starting spot on the left, with Piatek to come in up front in place of Leao, who was bright but wasteful against Lecce.
