Stefano Pioli, just like many of the Milan players, is enjoying a well-deserved vacation ahead of what should be a very exciting 2022/23 season. The pre-season will begin in July and the manager has a clear plan in mind.
Some of the Rossoneri men are currently out on international duty and will thus have an ‘extended’ vacation. This means that not everyone will be present for the first day of pre-season, which will be July 4th as per Tuttosport (via MilanNews).
However, the manager intends to have all of his players available from July 11th, which means they will have time to get in shape before the friendly against Köln. The latter is scheduled for July 16th, with a kick-off time of 19:00 CEST.
More friendlies are expected to be announced by Milan very soon and they should have a mini-camp in Klagenfurt, Austria. One or two games should take place during that as well, but we await the official confirmation.
