Tuttosport: Possible clear path for Arsenal and Chelsea as Milan drop out of playmaker race

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be no Milan move this summer for Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have been extensively linked with a move for the Hungary international, especially when it seemed as though Ralf Rangnick would be arriving from Red Bull as the club’s new manager.

Calciomercato.com recently reported that Szoboszlai continues to remain among the talents that Milan are keeping a close eye on, though recent reports have suggested Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen on the teenager, who has a €25m release clause.

However, any chance of the 19-year-old ending up at Milan now seems to be off the cards, at least according to Tuttosport (via MilanNews).

The paper claims that Szoboszlai is no longer part of Milan’s plans after Ralf Rangnick’s non-arrival. The player will now look more carefully at the offers that will come to him from the Bundesliga and Premier League.
