Tuttosport: Rangnick could start Milan job ‘a few months early’ depending on one factor

By Oliver Fisher -

It cannot be ruled out that Ralf Rangnick starts his new role at AC Milan a few months early should Paolo Maldini leave, a report claims.

With Zvonimir Boban having been sacked over the weekend, the Rossoneri appeared to fire the first shot of what will likely be another overhault. Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will remain in office until the end of the season when they too will leave.

Monday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) concurs with that report by insisting that Maldini and Massara are ‘also destined to leave Milan’, even if it is not yet known whether the farewell will take place immediately or at the end of the season.

The newspaper claims that if the two were to leave before the season ends, the immediate arrival of Ralf Rangnick cannot be excluded, who could start his work on the technical area a few months in advance.
