Tuttosport: Rangnick desperate to reunite Frankfurt duo at Milan – talks with agent underway

By Oliver Fisher -

Prospective new AC Milan boss Ralf Rangnick wants to reunite Ante Rebic with striker Luka Jovic at Milan ahead of next season, a report claims.

The Rossoneri’s desire to sign a new striker ahead of next season appears to be no secret, especially given the doubts over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and general lack of depth in that position already amid Rafael Leao’s poor form.

A name that has been repeatedly linked with Milan over the past few weeks is Jovic, and Friday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) confirms that Rangnick wants to work with the Serbia international at Milan.

Ante Rebic will also become a key part of the German’s vision for the future and Rangnick – together with agent Fali Ramadani – is working to try to recompose the Jovic-Rebic pair which was so deadly at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 22-year-old joined Real Madrid last summer from Eintracht for a hefty fee but has just two goals all season, leading to rumours he could change clubs again.
