Ante Rebic’s adventure with AC Milan is heading towards the closing credits after another disappointing season, according to a report.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) write that Rebic showed up at Milanello last summer in excellent condition, but then hardly ever provided any positive performances, except on matchday one against Udinese when he scored two goals at San Siro.
After four years Rebic is destined to leave Milanello despite still having a contract until 2025. Milan hope to collect a few million from his sale, and it is worth noting that at the end of the 2023 financial year he will have a book value of €2.7m, so a capital gain is sought.
Once the season is done, the Milan management will contact Rebic’s agent Fali Ramadani and ask him to look for a new team for his client. The Rossoneri they hope to find a solution soon and then think about signing the Croatian’s replacement.
