AC Milan winger Alexis Saelemaekers has admirers abroad as AC Milan must make a decision on his future, according to a report.
Saelemaekers held the role of starting right winger for the majority of the season but towards the end of the campaign he was alternated with Junior Messias, leading to speculation that his future at the club could be in doubt.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Belgian winger has admirers in the Spanish LaLiga and therefore during the summer transfer market those teams make an attempt to sign him, with Milan’s stance still to be discovered.
If Messias were not bought and Saelemaekers were sold then it would mean that two right wingers are needed, so Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara must wait for potential offers to come in that they can then evaluate and understand if there are the margins to strengthen that particular area of the team.

Kind of sympathetic player but let’s be honest… He’s not good enough. Pretty useless in attack, good for protecting the lead. But we also have Krunic (& Florenzi if bought) for that role and I’d prefer Messias for the “super-sub” RW for times we need to score.
Yeah, sign Messias, makes sense. LOL
I’m not saying Messias is the messiah but I’m saying he’s more useful of the two current RWs if I was forced to choose.
Alexis should stay.
Just like Leao who turn into a beast in his 3rd season, i feel Alexis will do well next season.
Pioli & Maldini should be patience and put more trust with these young players because they need times to developed and get better.

Messias won’t be signed, there is no point in that and I think Saelemakers should stay, he showed in the last match he has the ability to play for Milan.
I think he should be deployed as RB or WB. That will do it if Florenzi does not stay.
Hes actually perfect for RWB in 3-5-2 I believe that will be his role in the national team for the WC.
However, Milan don’t play that system! He’s OK as a backup RB but with Florenzi, Calabria and Kalulu we don’t need another one. And he’s just not incisive or decisive enough for RWF in our formation.
Only thing stopping me from saying definitely sell him is his age. We signed him for cheap and his new contract wasn’t a massive salary. If we intend on going deep in Europe while defending Serie A, maybe worth having a bigger squad, affordable low wage earners.
Perfect? Far from it. Mediocre at defending, poor at attacking. Good attitude though. Usually.
Lets not be stupid, the dude is 22 and there is this Thing about him that makes me feel we should keep him, he is not yet decisive but look at tonali,leao and Calabria, they were all not decisive In their roles before but look at them now….I will keep salaemakers, there is no need to sell him, I belive in the dude and I think maldini does, we just need give him.
Exactly this! He need to gym, get size and strength and he’s quite young. I’d def keep him over Messias as Messias growth is done and u get what u see whereas Saele gas room for growth
