Tuttosport: Salernitana could be without successful January signing for Milan clash

By Isak Möller -

While AC Milan are fighting for the Scudetto, Salernitana are fighting for salvation and tomorrow’s clash between the two will be an important one in those aspects. The home side could be without a key man, a report claims.

During the January transfer window, Salernitana made a few reinforcements to increase their chances of staying up and one of them was Simone Verdi. The attacking midfielder is on loan from Torino and he has started very well.

In his debut for the club, he scored a free-kick brace and thus won over the fans straight away, also showing his qualities with Torino watching on. However, it seems that he could miss the game against Milan tomorrow due to muscle fatigue.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), today’s training session will be decisive to understand if he can make the game or not. Should he miss out, then Diego Perotti and Franck Ribery will start behind the striker.
