There does not appear to be any truth in the speculation that AC Milan are close to signing winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a report claims.
It was reported over the weekend by Metaratings.ru that Kvaratskhelia will continue his career at Milan, with former Rossoneri defender Kakhaber Kaladze having assisted the deal.
Kvaratskhelia’s father has already revealed to the the media that his son would definitely no longer play in Russia and would move to one of the top European leagues, and they are adamant Milan is the destination.
As reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the rumours that Milan are close to the signing of the Georgian talent are without foundation, at least for the time being. The 20-year-old has been playing for Rubin since 2019 and during this time he had played 51 matches, scoring 7 goals and adding 13 assists, but it seems as though a move to Italy is not currently on the cards.
