Just a few weeks ago, Sven Botman seemed to be the sole target for AC Milan to reinforce the defence. However, the Rossoneri have turned attention to Gleison Bremer, which was confirmed by a report this morning.
The Brazilian defender, who plays for Torino, has impressed a lot this season and he has been heavily linked with Inter. However, due to the latter’s financial struggles, an opening has seemingly emerged for Milan and other clubs.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), English and Spanish clubs have inquired about the situation in recent days. It has been made clear to them that Inter are in pole position still, but the Nerazzurri also don’t want to satisfy the €30m demands of Torino.
Milan are interested and since they were expected to pay a similar amount for Botman, which could still happen, they might swoop in. The next few days should provide more information on the matter though, with Botman seemingly ahead still.
