Tuttosport: Why AC Milan could decide to sell Calabria amid offers

By Isak Möller -

Davide Calabria hasn’t had a good start to the season, receiving two red cards in the first nine games. In addition to that, he hasn’t been able to replicate his performances from last season, much like the entire team.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), the defender could leave the Rossoneri in January. In fact, he has offers from La Liga on the table. For Milan, a sale would make a lot of sense.

As highlighted by the newspaper, since Calabria came from the youth ranks of the club, he would guarantee a full capital gain. Of course, this would do well for Milan’s budget. Furthermore, he would make space for a new arrival at the back.

Then again, there is still some time left before the January transfer window kicks off, and the youngster might just be able to redeem himself. By the looks of it, though, at least one of Calabria and Conti will leave.
