AC Milan trained again this morning to prepare for Saturday’s game against Monza, which has become an absolute must-win.
MilanNews confirms that the squad had a morning session at Milanello in preparation for the next league match at the U-Power Stadium against Alessandro Nesta’s Monza, with kick-off at 20:45 CET.
There are two bits of good news. Firstly, Luka Jovic and Davide Calabria did the full training session with the rest of the squad which means they will almost certainly be available at the weekend.
In addition to that, Tammy Abraham ‘s recovery continues after the shoulder problem (presumably a dislocation) he suffered in the 1-0 victory against Udinese. The Englishman is also getting closer to returning to the field.
Today at Milanello he carried out the first part of the session with the rest of the Milan squad before breaking away and doing individual work on the field in the hope of making a full return soon.
Matteo Gabbia, on the other hand, is still on the sidelines with a calf problem. It was expected that he would miss the Monza game, and now all attention is on whether he can return against Real Madrid or if he might be done until the next international break.
Calabria for DM
DaMnnn
(pun intended)
It would be hilarious if Calabria came in and started playing “lights out” on the RT after having sat out for so long. (But probably not).
