GdS: Value of four young Milan stars has risen from combined €90m to €180m

A big part of AC Milan’s success this season has come from the growth of their young players, in particular a quartet who have exploded this season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) talks about how Elliott Management’s diktat to the directors regarding a youth project is beginning to bear some serious fruit as the Rossoneri squad continues to see its value increased.

Looking at some signings under their tenure, Theo Hernandez has gone from being worth €40m at the start of the 2021-22 season to being a €60m player now, while Sandro Tonali went from a €20m signing to a €50m man.

Looking at the centre-back pairing, Fikayo Tomori was a €30m signing and he is now worth €45m at least, while Pierre Kalulu was signed for less than €1m from Lyon and he is now worth €25m.

Four players who were worth €90m at the beginning of the season and are now worth €180m.

  1. No way in hell Theo only worth €60 million. He’s at least €100 million.

    And Tomori at €70-80 million.

Agreed with Tonali and Kalulu values though.

  2. Tomori is worth at least 15-25 more, you have to consider his nationality and that Premier League clubs would pay a premium price for domestic players. And Theo would cost at least 80M, probably more.

  3. Milan does not really know how to value their players, how in the world is Theo 60mil, Tomori 45m? Tonali is worth nothing less than 80m. Quit valuing our jewels like cheap stones. Forza Milan
