The 1-0 victory over Torino on Friday night for AC Milan brought about a huge wave of relief for the club and the fans, but they are not out of the woods yet, a report suggests.
As has been said in a report from Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), there was plenty of happiness at San Siro when the full-time whistle went, confirming only a second victory in 2023.
Beyond that, though, the performance against the Granata left a lot to be desired. Whilst Olivier Giroud got back amongst the goals, Rafael Leao still failed to have much of an impact on the game which will be a concern for Stefano Pioli.
Torino did have their chances to get something from the game and on another day, it may have been another disappointment for the Rossoneri.
Pioli has something to build on now, but it is too early to say that the bad form is over.
