Last summer, AC Milan signed Rafael Leao from Lille for a fee of €28m. However, the Portuguese striker has struggled to break through, spending a lot of time on the bench in his first season.
He has made 22 appearances for the Rossoneri thus far, but only ten of them from start, bagging two goals and two assists in the process. For next season, though, it might be wise to keep him rather than selling or loaning him out.
As we know, Milan will focus a lot on young players, hoping to follow the footsteps of RB Leipzig with Ralf Rangnick at the helm (hopefully). Take a look at the video below, which highlights Leao’s qualities.
