Charles De Ketelaere has been put on the market by AC Milan and a certain figure is needed for the Rossoneri to let him go. PSV Eindhoven have made a concrete attempt, but only on loan.
De Ketelaere didn’t have a good first season with Milan, registering just one assist, and that’s why the Rossoneri have put him on the market. €28m is needed to avoid a capital loss, though, and it won’t be easy to get that figure.
According to Antonio Vitello, PSV Eindhoven have made a serious attempt for the player but they are only willing to take him on loan. Furthermore, De Ketelaere is not open to the move as he wants to stay at Mila and redeem himself.
De Ketelaere will travel with the squad to Los Angeles tomorrow for the pre-season tour. Milan will take on Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona and De Ketelaere should get some minutes, hoping to change Pioli’s mind.
Why not use CDK as forward?
We need one, he had his best season as one at Club B as forward, so what am I missing?
Perhaps Pioli has seen enough of him as the lonely striker and decided he’s not up to the task. And frankly, looking at his movements and decisions on the pitch, he doesn’t look like the kind of player that could play as a lone #9. He could probably make it in a 4-4-2 but not as the main striker in 4-3-3.
we may need to hold on to CDK and Origi and use them as strikers since we still have zero targets for CF. LOL!!!
Honestly a dry loan suits all parties (yes assuming we bring in a forward which they probably will by the end of the window)
We don’t need to worry about an expiring contract. At PSV he could regain form and take the Xavi Simons playmaker role. Much better than wasting away on our bench. Let’s be honest, Pioli ain’t gonna uss him.
The curious case of CDK
