Vitiello: Former Inter striker will join Milan Futuro as ‘over-age’ player

By Isak Möller -

Samuele Longo will be one of the reinforcements for Milan Futuro ahead of next season, joining as one of the over-age players. The striker made his debut in Serie A with Inter and most recently played in the Spanish third tier.

Milan Futuro have been making some moves on the mercato, announcing three signings two days ago, and another one is now on the way. According to Antonio Vitiello, Samuele Longo will be the next one and will take up one of the overage slots.

The 32-year-old made his Serie A debut back in the 2011-12 season, with Inter of all clubs, and has been all over the place since then. Most recently, he played in the Spanish third tier with SD Ponferradina and scored two goals.

It might seem like a strange signing but arriving for free, and knowing Serie C well, he will act as the deputy for Francesco Camarda up front. More signings will probably arrive for the Futuro side too, but Daniele Bonera’s squad is certainly shaping up pretty well.

As for the first team, they are working to secure the arrival of Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid, having received the yes of the striker.
