Vranckx says ‘focused’ Milan will treat each game ‘as a final’ in top-four race

Ahead of the crucial clash between AC Milan and Lazio. Aster Vranckx spoke to the media about the Rossoneri’s situation. The Belgian admitted that every game that remains this season will be like a final.

The Belgian midfielder played from start in Milan’s 1-1 draw against Cremonese and although he had his moments, it was a very average display. Therefore, he will be on the bench once again this afternoon.

Speaking to MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, Vranckx shared his thoughts on the season finale as Milan are keen on securing Champions League qualification. It won’t be easy, though, and a strong performance will be needed today.

“We are really focused, we have to treat each match as if it were a final to try and bring the games home. We need to be concentrated and be more precise in the final third. We too have many qualities to win the match.”

Stefano Pioli made quite a lot of changes for the Cremonese game, Vranckx included, but he will use his best players today. Junior Messias will replace Brahim Diaz in attack, but other than that it’s the XI he used against Napoli.
