Olivier Giroud kept up his reputation of being the man for the big occasion as he levelled the game against Napoli at San Siro on Sunday night.
Theo Hernandez and Giroud had threatened to combine for a goal on so many occasions in the first half, and with just over 20 minutes left they did indeed combine for the equaliser. The full-back made one of his typical direct runs to the byline and cut back a perfect low ball to his compatriot who fired home first time with Meret this time stranded.

Theo Hernandez ,and Oliver Giroud weβre both magnificent..I thought we were definitely the best side ,but sometimes luck is needed ..Olivier Giroud was magnificent ,what a game from him 35 years of age but ran all night night his physical strength was so impressive he won almost everything in the air ,and provided scoring opportunities for the team ..He scored a goal from the equally impressive Theo Hernandez ,and of course he had a shot hit the crossbar ..So without doubt man of the Match Olivier Giroud..It will be great when leao is back .
Not often we lose a match when Olivier starts ,but sadly we have now ..It was a reckelless challenge from our substitute that lead to a goal ,and of course that cost us a draw at least ..We are better than Napoli ,and I still believe come the end of the season we will finnish above them .We are not out of the scuddeto race ..
