A very wholesome video has emerged showing Olivier Giroud’s children reacting to seeing their dad score twice against Gibraltar last night.
France scored double figures in goals for the first time in a competitive game, eventually winning 14-0 against a Gibraltar side that are one of the lowest ranked national teams in the world and played most of the game with 10 men.
Giroud got his first goal with a powerful low left-footed finish across goal, and his second suggested he had been taking tips from Rafael Leao as he converted with an overhead kick from close range.
Watching on were the striker’s four children Aria, Evan, Jade and Aaron (the caption suggests it was Aria’s birthday too) as well as his wife Jennifer, and they enjoyed seeing the goals go in.
