AC Milan returned to winning ways on Monday night with a 1-0 victory over a struggling Torino side at San Siro.

It was not sparkling Milan that had annihilated Inter in the first half of the derby and put Juventus on the ropes in the Coppa Italia, but it was another win which achieved the target of hauling the team right back up to the Europa League levels.

Alessio Romagnoli was particularly dominant in his battle with Andrea Belotti, while Ismael Bennacer helped command the midfield and Franck Kessie did a good job of driving play forward at times.
