Watch: Kalulu-Thiaw calamity gifts Okereke a goal before bizarre free-kick equaliser

AC Milan were held to another frustrating home draw, this time by Cremonese, with two goals coming inside the final quarter of the game.

Just as the game seemed to be heading for a goalless draw, Cremonese got a goal on the break through Okereke. Thiaw got clattered by Kalulu to put the striker alone on goal with Maignan, and he converted calmly.

An equaliser did finally come in the third minute of added time in a strange way. A free-kick was awarded right on the edge of the box and it seemed to almost roll through everyone, flicking off a body and going in at the near post.

  2. how come the two 20 year old milan center backs have to be the center to build attack? they must be confused. milan midfielders doing nothing after bennacer out.. thats why milan maybe need romagnoli…

      Benny didn’t provide anything for the attacks either. Since Pirlo left Milan has been lacking a creative playmaker.

  3. Well i said that this will happen on another article before the match lol. Literatlly every time Kalulu plays as a CB our defense is a mess. But people overlook that fact simpy because Kalulu will sprint from time to time and everyone is impressed by his speed. The reality is that he has been a disaster as a CB. He keeps doing this mistakes that make us constantly concede silly goals like this one. He is the main reason why our defence has been so bad this year. Just look at the difference when Kjaer replaced him. However it’s 100% on Pioli for still playing him as a CB. I stopped counting how many goals we conceded from Kalulu bad positioning and terible special awarnes. We would have probbobly been second behind Napoli if Pioli learned from his mistakes and stoped forcing Kalulu in to the CB role. But nah Pioli prefers to do the same thing and expect different results. Typical Pioli.

    1. That’s right I don’t know how I can reach Milan staff so that I can advice them to by Guga ,a good Brazilian defender playing for Atletico moneiro instead of kalulu menace. Kalulu does well in RB position

    2. Exactly. Good example to make a point that “pace isn’t everything” in football. Sure, Kjaer loses 100 times out of 100 races with Kalulu but Kjaer is rock solid and the best CB the club has. Kalulu is nothing compared to him when we think about reliability.

  4. I kindly and humbly request sempre Milan media to help me reach this message to the Milan staff. Milan should buy Guga of atletico mineiro for a solit defense and igor gomes for attacking midfield position instead of de ketelaere. I can promise you that igor gomes can be the next KaKa. Milan Should buy this Wonderful Brazilians .Milan staff should recall it’s Golden era of Ronaldinho, Robinho, Kaka and Pato. It is my request that Milan should stop looking for retiring players in the premier league and laliga and look for great talents in Brazilian, Uruguayan and Argentine domestic leagues. Milan staff should put into consideration that these leagues are the hearts of football .
