Watch: Krunic gives Bosnia the lead against Iceland with a Giroud-esque turn

By Isak Möller -

Rade Krunic opened the scoring for Bosnia in their Euro Qualifiers clash against Iceland this evening. Some will say that his goal reminds us a bit of his AC Milan teammate Olivier Giroud.

The Milan midfielder was named in the starting XI for Bosnia this evening and he didn’t need long to make an impact. In the 14th minute, Krunic received the ball inside the box and turned around before putting it into the back of the net.

It’s a turn-and-shoot move that we have seen from Giroud many times (especially since Krunic shot with his left foot). Maybe the Milan fans should start singing ‘Si è girato Krunic’ as well.
