AC Milan got their noses in front just before the break in their Coppa Italia quarter-final against Atalanta at San Siro, and it was thanks to Rafael Leao.
With seconds left of the first 45 minutes, Milan took the lead. Maignan claimed a corner and Tijjani Reijnders fed Leao on the break down the left, who fed Theo Hernandez and received a return ball before slamming a finish first time inside the far corner.
However, the lead would last just 90 seconds before Teun Koopmeiners hammered in an equaliser.
š What a finish from @RafaeLeao7

Im really not sure what position RLC is playing shouldnāt he be more in the middle?
Nice build up from Reijnders to Leao to Theo back to Leao.
But what is this formation the genius has out there?
343 , Musah and Jimenez are constantly in the way of Pulisic and Leao.
What’s the reason for change of formation?
Also, Milan scores the goal, 5 minutes left until half time and Pioli has them pressing. Atalanta beats the press, everyone is out of position, 1-1.
Milan coach is a genius. š
They really are all-over the place. And musah is totally lost on rw today. Why is he there in the first place?
1-2 now? Will Pioli survive this?
Ideally, he shouldn’t (not losing to altalanta a second time- this time at home) .
Coppa Italia is a low hanging fruit.
Pioli doesn’t stand a chance in the league or europa with his rubbish tactics (Theo, Leao Giroud & Inshallah).
I must say I was skeptical about theo at cb against atalanta; even in the last meeting where lookman was ‘unplayable’.
Now is on a yellow card at CB with milan trailing.
Wow, Jovic sure proved today that he is way better than Giroud.
PS : this is not against Jovic, but against bandwagoning people who only look back short-term rather than long-term
TouchƩ
The guy didnt knw how to play football
Who are you speaking about?
The Pope I think.
