AC Milan are anxiously awaiting the results of the checks that will take place Mike Maignan after he suffered an flexor injury last night against Newcastle United.
There was a very worrying moment with 10 minutes left on the clock as Maignan dropped to the ground with what looked like a muscle problem, forcing Marco Sportiello to come on for the closing stages.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky published a video on Instagram of the Frenchman limping out of the stadium after the match, confirming he has a strain in the flexor of his left thigh. This morning he will undergo some tests to understand the extent.

This will be a long time out, forget about whatever updates Milan medical teams gives because they have never given an accurate time of recovery or comeback, there 2 weeks always turn out to be 2 months.
The pessimism on here recently is at another level.
It’s a slight limp at best. He has his trainers on, his whole foot is touching the floor, very little padding, and above all the medical team are happy for him to be walking around unaided.
There is a bigger question about his general proneness to injury but lets not start pressing red buttons over this one.
He was injury proned player. That’s why he was bought by Milan and not another big club.
It looks like his groin to me
I think it would be a good option to sell him next season if we get a bid in range of 80M APPROX. He is good but he is also the most injury prone Goalkeeper in the world. Giorgi Mamardashvili is a very good option to replace him.
Looks like this time he will be out for just 2 games. Let’s hope he will be back for the Lazio game.
Marco Sportiello is ever ready. That is why we have substitute players.
Mike Maignan was never an injury prone player at Lille.
Maybe u should consider looking into it medical team because EVERY PLAYER IN AC MILAN IS INJURY PRONE…
You can tell me if I’m wrong.
Considering our previous season after the banter era minus this season that we have multiple new players, starting from last 3 seasons, last 2 seasons that we won the scudetto, last season and it still continues this season.
You can’t just blame a player for getting injured often because he’s playing for a team u support without looking back to his fitness in his previous clubs, check ur medical team or fitness team the problem is within and it will continue if it’s not fished out.
