AC Milan Women have been heavily criticised over the last few weeks, especially head coach Maurizio Ganz, but today they responded in style. In fact, they managed to beat Fiorentina 6-1.
Interviewed exclusively by SempreMilan yesterday, the Rossoneri’s star Kosovare Asllani stated the importance of bouncing back this weekend as winning is in Milan’s DNA. She got her wish with a fantastic display against Fiorentina.
Lindsey Thomas grabbed her second consecutive brace and Martina Piemonte also got a brace. Michaela Dubcova also got on the scoresheet and the other goal was an own goal.
